Presented Master’s thesis characterizes, analyzes and assesses the current situation of Holba’s brewery, Ltd. The thesis includes theoretical resources, company analyses, mainly internal and external analyses. As a result of outside and inside analyses there are formulated opportunities and Threats, Strengths and Weaknesses. On the basis of findings, the thesis includes comprehensive proposal of strategy, development and improvement of company position, which should help to fix it’s position on market and take a step forward in today’s mobile world.

The main points are analysis and developing the marketing mix. Then making suggestions to improvement that will help to better competitiveness of company. Concrete suggestions will be based on conducted analysis.

The work includes theoretical aspects, analysis of the company, specifically external and internal analysis, SWOT analysis and financial analysis, then contains recommendations and instructions, which lead up within the proposed strategy to set goals in order to improve the competitiveness of the company. The author is managing director of the company.

Evaluation of the Financial Situation in the Company and Proposals to Its Improvement

This master´s thesis deals with evaluation of a financial situation of the company Pivovar Chotěboř s.r.o. The theoretical part of this thesis focuses on the description of basic terms and methodological procedures, which are used for company performance evaluation. Based on the first part the partical part will be workded out. The company is introduced in the second part. This part of the work deals with the characteristic of chosen company, the description of the development of industry and calculation of financial ratios based on findings. Recommendations for improvement of company´s economical situation, based on the analysis and corporate benchmarking, are presented in the last part.

Proposal for the Development of the Employee Remuneration System in a Selected Company

The Bachelor thesis is focused on designing an employee reward system for a selected company. It is divided into three parts. The first part describes the theoretical backgrounds, which is based on the professional publications from several different authors who deal with the topic of employee rewards. The second part is focused on analyzing the current state of employee rewards in the company, as well as the impact of internal and external factors on the reward system. The last part of the thesis proposes changes that are intended to contribute to the improvement of this reward system.

Relationship of selected conditions influencing a school preparation of students from lower secondary school

The diploma thesis deals with various internal and external factors in the field of psychology, pedagogy and sociology, which may have a direct impact on school success or failure of primary school pupils. The theoretical part aims to map the main concepts. An important part of the literature search consists of its own description of selected internal and external factors that contribute to the quality of school preparation. The diploma thesis also includes a current section dealing with school success and failure in the period of distance learning. In the empirical part, in connection with the findings, a quantitative research is carried out among the pupils of the 2nd grade of primary schools in the Tábor region in the age range of 11-15. The questionnaire is followed by research questions, combining individual selected factors with school success / failure. The questionnaire survey conducted among pupils also includes an analysis of the problem of school preparation from the point of view of teachers, which form the other side of the reciprocal relationship between teacher and pupil.

Development of bilateral relations: Cambodia and the Czech Republic

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to describe the development of bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Czech Republic and factors which have an influence on this development. Official cooperation between these two states started in 1956. The development of Czech-Cambodian relationship was heavily influenced by two historical turns - the rule of Khmer Rouge in the 1970s in Cambodia and the fall of Communism in Czechoslovakia in 1989. This thesis deals with development of concrete relationship on descriptive level. The descriptive level is followed by the comparison of the development after two historical turns mentioned previously. The thesis compares events after which the renewal or transformation were necessary, factors which influenced these periods, how the relation was renewed and concrete examples of cooperation. This comparison tells us that the development after the two turns went in almost the same direction, historical turns mainly left marks in the first few years after the event. It is not possible to compare the first steps in cooperation after the role of Khmer Rouge and after the fall of Communism.

Development of the Czech insurance market from the point of view of the life insurance

This thesis analyzes the development of the Czech insurance market from the point of view of the life insurance in the last 8 to 10 years. The thesis is divided into 4 chapters. The thesis defines the theoretical concepts of life insurance and insurance market. The development indicators of the insurance market are described, more precisely are characterized six of them. Last but not least, external and internal factors that have an impact on the development of life insurance in the Czech Republic are explained. Greater attention is paid to those who are currently active on the Czech insurance market. The last chapter focuses on current trends in life insurance. The chapter also includes interviews and a summary of possible future developments in the insurance market.
